In a career spanning five decades, Walsh was the true adventurous spirit, the consummate craftsman and one of the best set-up men in pictures. To celebrate the first book-length biography of Raoul Walsh, the Cinematheque will run a three-night retrospective that includes HIGH SIERRA and THE THIEF OF BAGDAD.
