In December 1913, director Cecil B. DeMille, in association with producer Jesse Lasky, leased a barn at 6284 Selma Ave. to be the base of operations for their new film company. To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the landmark Lasky-DeMille partnership, the American Cinematheque, in association with the Hollywood Heritage Museum, will present several special programs. THE TEN COMMANDMENTS marks its 90th anniversary this year, and we screen the silent classic 15 years after it reopened the restored Egyptian Theatre on December 4, 1998. Another biblical spectacular, SAMSON AND DELILAH, will follow a brunch and tour beginning at the Museum.
