2014, Damiki Productions, 97 min, USA, Dir: Tom Moore

Noted theatre and TV director Tom Moore’s first documentary feature is this fascinating, loving look at the world of the flying trapeze, starring one of the greatest trapeze acts of all time, The Flying Gaonas. The 4th generation charismatic family, the Gaonas began their circus career on the trampoline and by the 1970s had become the star attraction of the great circuses of the world, including 17 years with “the greatest show on earth,” The Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus. After their retirement they continue to bring the magic of aerial performance to new generations through their coaching and teaching around the world. This is a story of myth, legend, family, loyalty and trust.
