Presented by German Films and the German Federal Film Board (FFA), this annual showcase premieres the most remarkable student shorts – the next generation of German cinema – together with the best German shorts under 5 minutes, the winners of the FFA’s Short Tiger Award. Selected by an expert jury, these 12 films tell deeply personal and universal stories, and represent the diversity of forms, genres and skillful filmmaking talent that international audiences have come to expect from German shorts.
