Double Feature! Director Garret Price In Person!
Introduction by LOVE, ANTOSHA director Garret Price and producer Drake Doremus.
2019, Giant Pictures, 93 min, USA, Dir: Garret Price

From a prolific career in film and television, Anton Yelchin left an indelible legacy as an actor. Through his journals and other writings, his photography, the original music he wrote and interviews with his family, friends, and colleagues, this film looks not just at Anton’s impressive career, but at a broader portrait of the man. Born in the former Soviet Union to a family of artists, Anton and his parents came to the U.S. when he was six months old. He started acting at nine. He had a genuine curiosity and love for people, for art and for family- as well as a willingness to explore, and be open with, the darker parts of himself. LOVE, ANTOSHA explores his successes and his struggles, and lets viewers get to know this extraordinary person the world was cheated from seeing grow old.

2011, Paramount Vantage, 90 min, USA, Dir: Drake Doremus

Aspiring furniture designer Jacob (Anton Yelchin) and poetry-writing British exchange student Anna (Felicity Jones) meet at a Los Angeles university and, after a few blushingly sincere flirtations and a date, become a couple. When Anna overstays her Visa tenure in the country, and is barred from entry back into the U.S. after returning home from a family visit in the U.K., the young lovers find themselves suddenly thrown into a long-distance, cross-continental relationship, and navigating all the heart-aching complications that go along with it. With Jennifer Lawrence. The Grand Jury Prize winner at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. “An exquisite, beautifully acted gem of a film.” -Variety
