The 1962 thriller WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO BABY JANE? teamed Bette Davis and Joan Crawford in a story of co-dependent sisters, both actresses past their prime, whose toxic relationship leads to murder. The Oscar-nominated hit got plenty of mileage out of the real-life rivalry of the two outspoken, strong willed Hollywood legends - a rivalry recreated in the new FX anthology series “Feud,” which stars Jessica Lange as Crawford and Susan Sarandon as Davis. This month we celebrate one of Tinseltown’s great battles royal with screenings of the original psycho-biddy classic and double features pairing earlier favorites starring Bette Davis (ALL ABOUT EVE, THE STAR) and Joan Crawford (MILDRED PIERCE, JOHNNY GUITAR).
