“The Style Essentials: History of Fashion in Film: The 1960s,” 90 min. After more than 20 years of studying film and costume design history, Kimberly Truhler founded GlamAmor and is an author, educator and frequent guest speaker on the history of fashion in film. “The Style Essentials” are 50 films with iconic costume design that immediately impacted fashion at the time they premiered and continue to influence fashion today. Truhler’s illustrated presentations include movie stills and images from today's fashion accompanied by a conversation about film history, costume and fashion designers, and fascinating backstories of the stars. The fifth installment of the Fashion & Film series focuses on Hollywood style icons of the 1960s - including Jean Seberg, Elizabeth Taylor, Catherine Deneuve, Faye Dunaway and Audrey Hepburn.

Stanley Donen and screenwriter Frederic Raphael relate the ups and downs of a marriage via vignettes that go back and forth in time, focusing on various road trips through Europe at different stages of a relationship in this ultra-'60s, offbeat romantic comedy. In career-highlight performances, Albert Finney and Audrey Hepburn are a husband and wife who can't stand each other yet can't stand to be apart. With mod fashions by Mary Quant and Paco Rabanne among other hip designers of the day.
