We regret that when we programmed Lawrence of Arabia on Sunday, Nov. 25, we had overlooked the fact that it is the same day as the Hollywood Christmas Parade. The streets are shut down and it is not possible to get anywhere near the Egyptian Theatre that evening. So, instead of putting you, our loyal patrons, through hell, we are canceling the program and refunding your ticket via Fandango. If you did not purchase your ticket on Fandango, please use our contact form to get in touch.

Lawrence of Arabia also screens on Friday, Nov. 23 and Sat., Nov. 24 and there are plenty of tickets left. We will do a makeup screening on another parade-free date.
Thank you for your understanding!

1962, Sony Repertory, 216 min, UK / USA, Dir: David Lean

This sweeping epic of Arab infighting and British colonialism won seven Academy Awards including Best Picture. Director David Lean's masterpiece, lensed to perfection by Freddie Young and set to Maurice Jarre's majestic score, is based on the daring campaigns of real-life British military figure T.E. Lawrence during WWI. The amazing cast includes Peter O’Toole (in his first feature), Omar Sharif (in his first major English-speaking role as Sherif Ali), Anthony Quinn, Jack Hawkins, Claude Rains and Alec Guinness as Prince Feisal. Made to be seen on the big screen!

Special Ticket Prices: $15 General, $13 Cinematheque Members. No vouchers.
