CRAZY HOUSE
1943, Universal, 80 min, USA, Dir: Edward F. Cline

Vaudeville comedy team Ole Olsen and Chic Johnson want to make a movie; when Universal won’t have them, they try to make it themselves with aspiring producer Patric Knowles. The result is a series of rapid-fire gags a la the duo’s earlier HELLZAPOPPIN’ interspersed with musical numbers and hilarious cameos from seemingly everyone on the Universal lot.
