This family fantasy favorite interweaves a fictional narrative about the storytelling brothers (played by Laurence Harvey and Karlheinz Böhm) with a trio of their fairy tales: “The Dancing Princess,” “The Cobbler and the Elves” and “The Singing Bone.” The star-studded cast includes Claire Bloom, Barbara Eden, Jim Backus and Russ Tamblyn (who reprises his TOM THUMB role). Originally presented in Cinerama, this feast for the eyes and ears was an Oscar nominee for Best Cinematography, Music and Art Direction, and a winner for Best Costume Design.
