This splatter-rific horror anthology is split into three segments, each based on a work by famed writer H.P. Lovecraft, played here by Jeffrey Combs (RE-ANIMATOR). In “The Drowned,” attempts to use the Necronomicon to revive deceased family members instead produce tentacled monsters. In “The Cold,” a woman’s next-door neighbor is a scientist intent on artificially extending life. In “Whispers,” a pair of Philly police officers tracks a suspect to a warehouse filled with alien creatures. Featuring special effects and makeup by the legendary Tom Savini.

Miranda Richardson, Gabriel Byrne and Lynn Redgrave costar in this riveting psychological thriller.
