1951, 82 min, Dir: Terence Young

Over 10 years before he helmed the early installments of the James Bond series (DR. NO, FROM RUSSIA WITH LOVE, THUNDERBALL), director Terence Young crafted this thrilling chase across the frozen Swedish countryside. When Norwegian scientist Dr. Nils Ahlen (John McCallum) discovers that his wife (Mary Laura Wood) has run off with his laboratory assistant (Anthony Dawson) and has stolen his precious invention that produces energy from sound waves, he enlists the help of veteran police inspector Peterson (Jack Warner) to track them down. With Peterson and Ahlen on their tail, the lovers head into the frigid Lapland, where they hope to escape into the Soviet Union. Neither side, however, is prepared for the natural dangers that await them.
