A crowded sports arena becomes a war zone when terrorists take the U.S. vice president hostage during a hockey game. Fire marshal Jean-Claude Van Damme is the only thing that stands in the way of ex-CIA agent Powers Boothe, who plans to blow the NHL Stanley Cup Finals to kingdom come if he doesn’t get the millions he demands. Luc Robitaille and Mario Lemieux are among the real-life hockey players who take the ice in this DIE HARD-esque action thriller.

DOUBLE IMPACT
1991, Park Circus/MGM, 110 min, USA, Dir: Sheldon Lettich

Get two Jean-Claude Van Dammes for the price of one! Twenty-five years after their parents were killed by a business partner in league with a crime lord, long-separated identical twins Chad and Alex Wagner return to Hong Kong to settle the score. Playing two different characters, Van Damme gets to flex his acting muscles as well as his biceps, but rest assured, DOUBLE IMPACT has plenty of martial arts mayhem (including a climactic battle with BLOODSPORT antagonist Bolo Yeung).
